straight away your natural instincts kick in where you want to protect your young, they become the most amazing thing ever in your life
as you watch them grow they fill your heart with such pride, there first tooth, first word, first solid, first smile, first step, first day at school etc
yes there are sleepless nights what with illness's and teething etc but that is all forgotten so easily as the love you feel for your child is overwhelming
but as they get older so does the job of being a parent as you have to take the rough with the smooth, the happy and the sad, you question your skils as a parent when your child does wrong and wonder if you have left them down so you get an overwhelming feeling of guilt
you try to guide them the best you can but as your kids grow they find their own direction and its hard to sit by and watch
but all this said and done, would i change being a mum, not in a million years as through all the tears their has been smiles, through all the worry there has been joy and through all the heartache their is always love
