Rainy Days
Usually rainy days get me down. (and wet.)
Saturday turned out dreary, and drizzly. The kind of drizzle that go's right through you, and gets you soaked. Well I was unprepared. I got pretty wet....And we had our Parish Fair this past weekend.I was working the haunted house. Down right Chaotic. Kids (particualarly tweens) were our ghosts and goblins. when you get friends together, they clump in groups, and thats not a good thing in mazes and your trying to scare people.
Well anyway after a dreary day with no protection, it continued on into the evening, out on the blacktop, no tents or awnings to cover our heads we had a steak dinner....As well as an auction was had and dancing. Despite the drizzle that soaks through you we all had a good time.
Sunday: Another dreary day of drizzle....Again another day of working the haunted house. But I had a happy suprise. Brad decided to come and see what this fair was all about. He got to meet my neices, and my sister and husband and my friends. Yes we got drenched but we had fun. With the wind blowing, even under the awning we still got wet.
So the moral of the story: find someone to enjoy the dreary days with, even though the clouds are grey your happy and smiling with a sunshine face.

Yes, I'm around again. Been kinda busy. How are you doing? Good I hope. Anyone here from billyfatwas? haven't seen him around lately. Hope the chap is alright. He's always got a kind word to say.
