Communication is key!

Something happened on my way home last night that i still can't get off my mind.i found myself in a difficult & helpless situation that really got me worried.i was kind of held on a lonely road for certain actions i took that were not in my favour.i was hungry & damn tired & all i wanted was to go home,take a bath & find the pillows.but right there where i was held,i had a strange sensation of dread that i might not even get home!
Still in that helpless state,i stood up & politely expressed my desire to clear myself of such a mess.that was the key-communication.now,it wasn't just mere talking.it's getting to building an instant relationship of trust with people who could hurt you any minute.there is something in everyone of us that can change situations & people's convictions concerning us.in a helpless situation,try not to be rude.you don't have to show or flex your muscles everytime you find yourself in a dark corner.just communication!effective communication builds trust.the fact is,people watch you from a distance but most times,we're ignorant of this fact.you may be held & all they want from you is to express yourself.but instead of you expressing yourself,you remain silent.do you know what your silence can cost you?it hardens the convictions they have concerning you.just talk.just laugh.just try to keep the conversation going.just try to forget you're in danger.that's the key to escaping such situations.
