Power cut at my industrial zone 02/11/2010
This afternoon suddenly power is cut in our industrial zone where I am working. It is a rare event. No root cause I have got but it will take hours to bring back power. So people are free of work this afternoon. It is really an opportunity to go somewhere here. Anyway it has been raining today. Wind blows strongly. So poor me. I would rather stay at home and have some research.
I got a news from my hometown that it is flooded there. 7 lives have lost. My hometown has average rain of 600mm per year. But this year with 3 days of raining it reaches nearly 600mm. Unbelievable!. A building dam was damaged and river water level equals the height of dyke. My parent's house is still safe even though it is just meters from the dyke.
houses of some streets are 1m deep in water.
Not only my home town all in the region of Middle South of Vietnam in similar condition of flooding.
This can prove that world climate has been changed. save our world .

Anyway, yes, flooding recently, even in Ho Chi Minh City due to storm, but I'm familiar with the flooding problem. I'm thinking to buy a wooden sampan for convenience moving during flooding!
