I am sorry you got hurt in some way..since we do not know the story behind what is going on..anyway..
the difference in cultures makes it very hard sometimes..points of view clash and it is hard to understand certain aspects..one has to learn to try and understand..if she is not Hindu..she will have a hard time and others too because the difference is so great
unless someone has the desire to understand..it will most like fail
Just move on and there will be someone for you, eventually
