Palin,

I agree with bloggger who said how amazin someone can go on her looks, but if not so attractive she be long forgotten, good article on her in october issue of vanity fair where she basically made no bones about that's what she relys and counts on and is used to getting by on and ahead, her looks, takes more than looks to deal with north korea, iran, russia, financial crisis, etc, you get my drift.Icould be more alot more colorfully elaborative on hte subject, but i'll refrain so i don't get post deleted.Good luck to the American body politic in 2012.

She has looks? What looks? I guess after 4 -5 kids the entire Alaska can slither in and out between her legs. handshake
How Can you NOT, NOT give Credit to Obummer for winning his Seat based on his looks, (He got the women's votes) and his adept capability to read a Telepromptor like no other.
I agree with you, Byzantman11 thumbs up

And I agree with you also Ashtray thumbs up

So I will repeat your exclamation and question of, “What looks!?”

Gentlemen, please allow me to add my take on this obscure person.
This is simply how I see it er, her, Sarah Palin…

Somehow, someway, this Palin person escaped “Roger Rabbit’s Cartoonville” where she is really the cartoon character, Peggy Hill (from TV’s King of the Hill). BTW – Peggy Hill is just as vain in the cartoon form as Sarah seems to be in real life.

Anyway, this is what I suspect happens – think about it it’s so easy to follow.

professor When she – Peggy Hill - enters the realm of real life, she becomes Sarah Palin…

Now, isn't that simple? Really, think about it. confused

Makes sense to me! peace

Hey, question to all the progressives, Tea Bagger’s and other convoluted arm-chair politicians… Does this country really need another “character” without substance playing with our lives and where did she come from?

Oh, I recall now Alaska! VP running mate; don’t we have Senator John McCain to thank for Sarah Palin? Come on everyone let’s thank the Senator - Thank you, Senator (as Bugs Bunny would have said), "whatta maroon.”

O.K., last thoughts before you go off on me people…

No, I don’t support anyone on the Hill (no pun intended) or in the White House. I just don’t believe in Sarah Palin’s abilities – which are nil.

It’s sad, that Sarah Palin is looked upon as a god and savior of whom she is neither.

Incidentally, that chubby daughter of hers cannot dance for she is about as graceful as a hippo on a greased floor.

People, reckless support of Sarah Palin vicariously through her little (little - maybe not the right word to use) girl just amplifies your stupidity.

Now, as I close, I wish to say, don’t hate on (me) because everyone has their views and opinions.

Have a productive day grin
Home ALONE ( I'll bet you are )>

Why worrie about someone hating you, sounds to me- like your already a hater??? Come on man! A little women that loves her children and soccer.

You claimed that she's God's saviour.

We currently have the Messiah at the Whitehouse...
Where's there to go after him?

doh
Dear Homeallalone…you have the kind of mental faculties off where things are properly dissected and eventually presented in neither a subjective or objective way, instead it’s all an open inquiry. I love your style.

Dear Blain….please do not use this word ‘hater.’ Believe me people of no nation other than America use this word as frequently as Americans do. We are talking about Plain here, not Obama. In a way you are suggesting to Homealone to ‘please change your mind completely and start mocking in your superb way of mocking Obama and not Plain because that’s what I want you to do’….that’s the same exact thing and the essence I get from watching Fox news all day long.

Keep watching Fox and really absorb what it has to say.

I reserve the word Hate for a person that has already mentioned it.

cool
To ashy part 2
OBummer Sucks- Obummer freakin`sucks, Obummer

Obummer Obummer Obummer Obummer Obummer!!!!!!!!

barf
As I stated before.: How then do you suppose Obama got in ? He by far has no looks, no smile, no style, no charisma, no presense of state. He does not enunciate his words between the Uhs and the Uhs , and the Uhs, How do you suppose that happened? One would supopose this is just a target because she is a women, but most definately Far more educated than you or I. She has had a few children and one 3 months before the campaign for Vice President. She smiles. She is makes herself attractive to attract as most people do, but not Obama. Just as Michelle, who had a make over with her hair and her looks and we paid for her assiatants and hair dressers as also her girls do. Michelle has learned to enjoy expenesive, has grown to love designer clothes and $900.00 Nike's,and does nothing for our country.
Palins is on top of her every day life while keeping her family together and is in her forty's. She is focused. She has succeeded in a 30 year marriage. She succeeded in governing her state and it has no deficit. As far as her dealing with other countries she will comand respect and give it and she will speak and enunciate her words and her voice will be trained, will have protocal while Obama has not improved on anything of that character or in appearance representing this country as it should be, while in office, as of yet. She is a doer. She has the enthusiasm and shows it. You never notice Obama and I cannot listen to his speeches with every other word is uh, uh,. It has not and never will command attention to anyone seriously. So you have to find fault with a woman. Can you claim all she has done in your life. Most of us could not make a marriage work let alone accomplish all she has done.
Do you not know that the president has a large staff to do most anything at his beck and call. Palin will not rule this country alone as nor any other president has. So you pick on her looks. Why did no one pick on Obamas looks? Lame
Dear Holly,

That’s what you wrote:

You never notice Obama and I cannot listen to his speeches with every other word is uh, uh,. It has not and never will command attention to anyone seriously.

My inquiry is why the man with an apparent uh uh problem (noticed by you) is deemed one of the most eloquent presidents in the history of the US.

I think Barbara Bush was brilliant in her one liner when asked about Palin and she said ‘she should stay in Alaska’. I think nothing could sum it up better.

I mean Americans sometimes make dumb choices but anyone who thinks a person like Plain could rule the behemoth US is a downright demented individual.

She is a baby maker at best and then some average politician. I think the best she can do is host some talk show as she is crazy for her exposure, other than that I think she should be thinking of making another baby.

And then why we don’t pick on Obama’s look? The answer is he is very charming to begin with and then his talent does not leave too much room open to criticize his looks.

Palin is cartoonish looking and very average in speaking skills.

Wow! Your comment to ms. holly was well said Ashtray!

Cudo's to you...

I'm sure you are not a member of the "He-man woman haters club." Your remarks, however, tell me that you call things or situations as you see it or them. It's always good to see someone stand up and speak their mind... as did Blain and ms. holly and I'm not saying that they are wrong; exactly...

Blain... don't know what your all about; perhaps you too are caught up in the moment but it's a bad moment and it's time to wake up from your secret crush - is it for mom or daughter?

Sarah Palin - if you recall my response in remo58's blog of a few days ago - where I said something like: she is loud, she doesn't know how to use her vocal register and that she lacks a certain polish she is in need of vocal training. Really, her delivery is child-like; her utterances sound to me as if someone is dragging their fingernails across a chalkboard - not to mention that perpetual smile reminiscent of the Cheshire Cat and the wild look she has in her eye; it's like she there but not.

Yes, ms. holly, she too like all other presidents would receive help working the office, if and when she gets there - I personally don't believe she has the "chops" or the political maturity and savvy. Not hating on her, just giving my opinion - is that alright with you, Blain? She's not ready... she's not there. And yes, I admit to imaging her to the public on this site in remo's blog as a cartoon character because to me, she is - she is similar to the loud, vain, classless and obnoxious braggart - PEGGY HILL! (Sarah and Peggy look like twins)

I'm not trying to tear down a woman, this woman or any woman's desire or poo-poo a potential for growth which everyone has but that's the key or buzz word - growth - she is in need of it, sadly, the public doesn't see it and they are pushing her too fast for her good let alone anyone's good.

As for my stance, if you will recall again, Blain, I had said in remo's blog that I don't support anyone in the field of politics - on the Hill or in the White House.

I will acknowledge that ms. holly, (like myself, you Blain or anyone else) can say or believe whatever feels right as regards this forum.

Oh, by the way, Blain, don't pick on my "Home Alone" handle don't make your remarks or comment personal for you don't know what it's about and since we're not friends I don't have to explain it or myself. Therefore, I will politely ask you to mind your manners. FYI - I am a Viet Nam Vet and I still have plenty of fight in me, so, I ask that you don't push me to make a fool of you and myself on this site.

In spite of the fact that one who enters the political arena, may have the best of intentions with a true desire to do the best for the republic, you know, the things that will benefit all and not just the appointed or elected officials is not going to happen in this life-time. No, the corruption in government is lives too deep in the hearts of mankind (mankind - men and women)

I encourage you and others to let's not rush into a blindly to anything that might bring unhappy circumstances as we (as a people) have before and are now experiencing but be resourceful and be reasonable about what you want in and out of life especially from a perceived political god and savior.

BTW Blain, for your information, I didn't refer to her (Sarah Palin) as god... if you have any religious schooling or training, you would have learned that there is only one God and he's not on this earth and will never be in the White House.

"Nuff" said.

Good day, to you sir.

Well, it certainly does because our -- our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They're in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia ... We have trade missions back and forth. We-- we do-- it's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where-- where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is-- from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to-- to our state." --Sarah Palin, asked by Katie Couric how Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience, CBS News interview, Sept. 24, 2008rolling on the floor laughing conversing
