everyone talks about rock these days;the problem is they forget about the roll...

As rock means..incite my soul, getting the music within..the roll mouves my body, I get the rythm in my feet..dancing..and even I do not dance I feel the music as a stream in my veines..It makes my blood running..

How many of those who talk about 'rock'n'roll,actually know when it started? It did'nt start in the so-called great sixties,it started in 1954 with the film,'Blackboard Jungle' starring Glenn Ford,Vic Morrow and a young Sydney Poitier.Part of the background music was Bill Haley's Rock Around The Clock,and following the success of that film,the song was released as a 45 single. Actually,most of the top rock'n'roll singers were dead before the sixties,Buddy Holly,Eddie Cochran,Ritchie Valens,etc.and now only a few real rock'n'roll stars remain,Fats Domino,Chuck Berry,John Fogarty,etc.
The sixties was not the rock'n'roll era,and ROCK is totally different from rock'n'roll,even the 'king' had changed over to mainly ballads,before he died,does'nt seem like 33 years have passed since his death.
