When We Dance

If we are to behold the spirit of death, We must open our hearts wide to the body of life For life and death are one, as the river and sea are one For what is it to die, but to open from the cocoon and become the butterfly To leave the pain and weariness behind. To rise and seek our Father in Heaven For when we cease breathing and feel free of the restlessness and when the earth lays claim to our limbs, then do our spirits truly dance
