REJECTION-"The ughly "R" word!

"Ok - so - what would make YOU reject someone as a potential mate?"
This is an opportunity for you (and I) to do a little self exploration.

Would you reject someone based upon their unattractiveness?...

How about their financial status?...

Their living arrangement - do they have their own place or are they still living with mommy and / or daddy?...

Do they drive?...

Do they have all of their teeth?...

Now...Step Back...Ask yourself this...WHAT'S REALLY IMPORTANT?...

Why do most relationships and marriages fail?...

ANSWER: A lack of fidelity -> i.e. NO REAL LOVE, NO TRUST, NO RESPECT...

Appearances are decieving, but as the good book says "Ye shall know them by their fruits".

Now - Here is a new set of criteria for you to ponder and use, a new list of judgement points far more effective than your old ones in weeding out the undesirables...

How many hearts have they broken?...

How much trust have they shattered?...

Who have they betrayed?...

How many families have they abandoned?...

How often do they lie?...

Change your priorities, you might be pleasantly surprised with the results...

I don't know how religious u r, or how spiritual etc. but u strike me as someone who is a little on the judgmental side... if u believe in jesus and learned anything from his teachings u would know that above all else he was about love and forgiveness... even the dullest stone has some shine beneath its surface, just maybe needs someone to come along and have the faith and willingness to polish it... I would say that most people have inadvertantly hurt someone in their lives at some point...and I would say that everyone who did, will most probably look back on that moment and regretted it...

I think if you try and see the positives in people u might be pleasantly surprised.. the dark bits we share and all have in common...human nature.. its the good bits that make us unique and specialpeace
