I met a nice guy on here... he was terrific until I said "no, I will not lend you money".... lol anyways, I was married to a wonderful man for 15 years... and believe me - he is proof that there are great men around... now,,, if only we can find where the hell they are hiding!!! lol Good luck pam!

Well... technically it was one date, so you didn't actually get dumped. Just because you had a bad experience with one person doesn't make an entire race bad.

i have to say men of a certain age with an x family have baggage but so do women of the same age bracket the difference is women are able to understand wat it is they want from the next relationship we are not all Elizabeth Taylor or Jane Fonda. We want a happy ending with the rite person. but the rite person is usually too scared and is looking for his or her second youth. if i'm wrong please tell me. i am a mature woman who doesn't look my age this is a serious problem for me since old gits look at me as arm candy. and all i'm looking for is my other half....where are you, the one with no game to play and no complications? i simply looking for my mirror image in the sense of someone who works hard and understands that me need to stand still to smell the roses. i'm a work nut and i want my other half to be the same. but he must also see when we both need a break in our work life and STOP WORKING and meet me halfway to some kind of peace whether in travelling and sharing together or simply watching a film with a glass of wine at our respective homes. can i make it any clearer?

The problem with us women is that we are too picky, we want designer soulmates, this and that. Problem with men is that they don't grow up. There's no difference between a boy and a man. Now, why don't we just eccept each others' flaws and get along. ?
