accident
4th feb i was going to pick my son up from his dads but as they had moved house i was unsure of where they liveddrove down this road then realised i was just about to go past it so i stopped and put my car in reverse when crash, a guy came round the corner and hit into the back of me, as there was a primary school i drove up round the corner and pulled over but the guy was abourt to drive past so i shouted at him to which he came back and hurled a load of abuse at me
i had my 15 month old baby and was not going to be subjected to that so i drove of, back round the block to my ex's house, as i pulled up on his drive the car with the guy in it pulled up behind me shouting at me etc
my ex's new fiance came out of the house and was shouting back at him telling him to leave, he left but without me taking his details although he had took my number plate then saying he was going to get me done for it
i go to a family group every friday and this friday the police were there and i had told them what happened but they said as i never took his details there was not much i could do although i could report it to my insurance company if i wanted to claim or in the likely hood that he may report it but they thought it would be umlikely as he hit me
however almost two weeks later i recieve a letter from the police saying i have commited a offence, 1- driving with undue care and attention, 2-failing to stop after the accident, 3-failing to report the accident,
i have these forms now to fill out my details but i have also wrote on there what happened that day
they want my driving license number which i i cant find and plus its in my old address grrrr
i am furious

not sure what he is trying to get out of this as he has damaged my car, £150 worth of damage whereas there was no damage to his car, surely if he drove in to the back of me the police must see he was in the wrong, what an idiot
not sure what will happen, all i need is to get a fine and points on my license
that is terrible what you witnessed, there are some very carless drivers out there, i am always aware of who and what is on the road as i am alway transporting kids around so i have to be cautious, some people just dont care

the damage to my car is not as much as yours but its still inconveniant to have to have it fixed, your right though luckily noone was hurt but his putting all the blame on me grrrr

i was calm that day as i was concentrating on where the house was and where i had to go etc, he came driving round the corner like a loon and as he went to drove past me io simply shouted at him to come back as he should have stopped any way
as for the paperwork i was always told by my dad to never carry it around with you just in case your bag or car gets stolen so i keep my documents save in doors, yes i should have had it updates but when i moved in to my house there was alot going on at the time and i simply forgot all about it
as for being furious then yes i am understandably as i have done nothing wrong and hate being accused like i have, not sure what this guy is trying to achieve as there was no damage done to his car, he damaged mine when he drove into me

lol love the joke but your right i always thought if someone goes into the back of you then there in the wrong, just got to prove this now i suppose as i am not sure what his told the police
the fact i never reported it must make me look bad or in the wrong though i suppose
