There was 6 magnitude earthquake 10 minutes ago.
I'm still feeling the earthquake.help

well the earthquake was 8.9 magnitude quake has hit northeast Japan & tsunami already hit some of area in northeast japan.
wish you & your family are ok.

Make sure you are safe, and just stay on CS for a while until the aftershocks let up.

I have never experienced a earthquake but I can imagine it is very scary and unsettling.

Just stay on CS and try not to let this scare you too much, you are ok and you will be ok, that is what matters.

Stillofthenight... How far is your province to Vancouver? It has been saying that there will be a very terrible earthquake in Vancouver. Its principle is the same as the terrible earthquake that happened in Indonesia on 12, 26, 2004.

Scientists have been worrying about that must-happen earthquake in Vancouver for many years... blues

I am on the other side of Canada, Vancouver is far from me.

There is a fault line just off the coast of British Columbia that is ready to let go anytime now. It is predicted that the quake will be severe and will probably create a tidal wave as well.

Yes, it is a beautiful city. I don't want to live anywhere else but do wonder sometimes when these earthquakes hit. They're expecting the 'big one' here any day....blues I've only felt a few small ones. Apparently we have hundreds a day you just don't feel them.

Just checked the Earthquake Canada site and there is a tsunami warning for the West Coast here.

so now it is so many hours after it happened and perhaps the full realization is becoming just now being realized by the those who survived and anyone watching the news...this one hurts badly and I hope all those you knew have survived.

They say there is still a 70% risk of a 7 or more magnitude earthquake taking place and this between now and March 16 and then a 50% risk between March 16 and 18. I hope all safety measures are in place and people are being informed and oriented.

They were also talking of possible problems with a second nuclear plant.

These are very sad moments, I hope the situation doesn’t escalade.
