Did you say why risk it? I say why not?

When I was an outlaw, I recall someone asking me why I was choosing to follow a particular course of action when we full well knew that the risks far outweighed the reward. My reply was what you see above. I don’t really believe in taking unnecessary risks for the sheer excitement of it, but I don’t believe in living the life of a coward either. I tried it once and it really sucked…
I was once the victim of a bully, so I ran home to tell my dad. He asked me if I fought back and I replied that I hadn’t, whereupon he slapped the hell out of me and told me to go back down the street and beat the crap out of him. I said, “I can’t, he’s bigger than me!” His answer was, “if he beats you up, than I won’t, but if you don’t even try I’m going to half kill you…” Some motivation, huh?
I was so mad by this time, at both the bully and my dad, I walked down to where he lived and beat the living crap out of him. Go figure. I had it in me all of the time, I just didn’t know it. What’s in you that you don’t know about? What’s bullying you around that you need to beat the living crap out of today? (Did I say that?) Peace, brothers and sisters…

Hi there Rowdyrufus,

How are you?
Nice blog, i am not sure if i would like to try and beat somebody up to see if i have got that in me but it sure get the point you want to get across and i think it is important that people try themselves out, push themselves to see what they really can do....

Cheers

great blog
as for your question... FEARS...
Hi Rufus, I really enjoy the story behind your blogs.

Well, I think a man's strength can be of two forms.. Mental and physical.. When u tap the potential of your mental strength, i mean when u are motivated, you can do anything on this earth..not necessarily that you have to be a big man pysically. So we gotta go figure, our strengths and may be weaknesses or limitations too! I think your blog tries to tell that underlying theory?
