What to do ? What to do ?
I certainly don't want to insult their generous offer. That just wouldn't be right.
But, you can sort of understand my predicament, right ?
Afterall, it's kind of far for me to travel and fairly short notice too.
Plus, it's somewhat too staid an affair for my tastes.
Honestly, the music will likely be boring.
The food might be good though.
I might meet a lovely princess.
We might dance all night , well at least until midnight, when she probably turns into a cat
or something worse
I'm curious, what did you do, with YOUR inviation to the royal wedding ?

You should have used it as toilet paper first.
or at least you were.
I guess you WIPED out all possibilities of showing up.
Geez you'd think they could afford
a band instead of a DJ and some shrimp instead of cucumbers.
Perhaps they are royally cheap ?
However, I don't wish them any more good luck than us
and I think they have a decent start.
Indeed, I wish them unending happiness.
But, I am not (no matter how much they beg),
going to, or even watching, their wedding.
Hope they get some peace after events of the coming weekend are over. Being a public figure seems to come with a measure of misery.
For her, it's a choice... for him, being born into a lifestyle ... good and bad to this ... but less personal choice in things it would seem. That doesn't seem appealing.
I wish them the best but a picture in the newspaper is enough for me... don't need to know or want to hear any more.
I don't think they wanted her in 'the family'.
I'm saying, it is POSSIBLE.
Secondly, may I suggest that you see people for what they really ARE, rather than what they represent....to you.
It would not surprise me, if there are dark secrets in both powerful families mentioned. Indeed, Di might have been made an offer, she DID refuse.
I think a lot of it flys over some people's heads, or something.
But, I can see a woman going either way.
To each their own.
By the way, Carly actually wrote this for me.
Are you kidding ??? No 'Godfather' ? No Bond ? Bond HAS to be the most successful series ever ! My answer was..."I'll give you a clue" and posted the Nobody Does it Better video.
One idiot said, "that choice wasn't offered, if you don't like a thread, don't respond." I said, I like the thread, I just don't like the limited choices offered.
S9 - I'm glad you had such a good time with your new 'friends'. If you meet again, be sure to get autographs, as they probably will bring good prices on eBay.
