@jana28

Come on now...
Don't "see it" so pesimistic..!!

See it as a visit to the circus... where all of us can
see and "admire" , the acrobats, and all kind
of ANIMALS...!!!

makis: I actually don'r watch it, bit I can imagine ;)
Pessimistic? It doesn't anything to do with my life, therefore emotions :))
Btw I use the opportunity to tell you that I like your intelligent and positive blogs and comments :)

Its nice to see folks in love and im sure if the young ones could have their own way then they would have married quietly..
@iamwhoiamyousee

I don't like it at all.
But to tell the truth, I'm going to watch it a little bit...
Just to see the BIG WASTE of money, in a period of global economic crysis..
Just curious I guess..

Well if ya haven't been raised with it then you ain't gonna like it are ya? I got up for Charles and Diana's wedding when I was 12. So didn't want to miss this one though it's on a slightly smaller scale.
Hi Makis,

I may be wrong but if I remember correctly there was a British guy in the forums who said the Royal family is paying for the wedding but the government is paying for the security. dunno
@Makis I don't know too much about the financial aspectdunno Not sure how they afford it. They always have money, even when things appear tough. Guess they inherited a lot from the Queen Mom?

I know the Queen has cut down a lot on expenses, she had no choice as I think she was feeling the pinch. Like the Britannia yacht and I know she took the public train somewhere (of course she didn't ride with the public).
For those who complain about the "waste of money" ... keep in mind, that money goes to hard working people - it's not being burnt at a bonfire, for heaven's sake!
LuckyBonnie

I think my dear ,that these money don't go to peoples pockets, but to companies who just "got the job" !!!

i like the Beckhams...
Makis,In all honesty ,I think you are spending too much time in front of your com screen.Yeah sure he is going to be head of state in my country some day, and the Commonwealth too.But first and foremost they are two young kids getting married,surly you can celebrate that fact!!!!
You poor sad man Makis!!!!
Tell me, are you ever happy about anything?

For your information, just to put you straight, you seem to be a little mislead with regard to the expenses!

£100,000 of the Middleton's hard earned money is going to pay towards the wedding as is the custom, .............. only the security comes off our taxes, and so what, I'm not complaining...... I haven't starved yet!!!
To Makis..... You mentioned the poor homeless people, well Prince William spent a day and night on the streets a while ago with the homeless dropouts, just to see for himself how bad it is for these people........ Tell me.........HAVE YOU EVER DONE THAT???
No, funny I didn't think so! I rest my case!
Makis! Don't dare to talk against Royal stuff to UK people!
Long Live The Queen! head banger cool grin devil
Oh lipsee, I apologize :))frustrated roll eyes
I for one would like to thank Arhids for the blog!!!the time is 9.20pm and there are still party,s going on and fireworks going off,,I did not go to the wedding,but let me tell you people there is a real buzz in London tonight..Good night all.
Yes you're right Makis, it is a big subject and big discussion, and we're both entitled to our own opinion, there's nothing wrong with that!

Just to clear something up, I didn't imply that you hadn't helped homeless people, I asked you whether you'd ever spent a night on the street with a homeless person!

I have no way of knowing what you do and don't do, as I have never met you, so am not in a position to judge you!

Cheers!
