Picking out a new model
Whether you are buying a used car, or finding a soulmate, there's so many questions that need clarification.
How fast is she ?
Is she smooth handling ?
Is she reliable ?
How good is the warantee ?
Is she covered bump her to bump her ?
How about the struts ?
Are there hidden defects ?
Is this model 'high maintenance' ?
Is there room for a spare ?
Too much 'junk in the trunk' ?
Will she frequently break down ?
Sure, several test drives are critical,
but one never knows for sure, down the road,
when that long term contract is signed.
While some argue that "it's cheaper to keep her",
perhaps a lease and frequent trade-ins are a more
friendly & beneficial way to approach this.

You see, it's just not what the sedan had pictured. It wanted someone who would drive it nicely in the park in Sundays... would be reckless in mind but never in reality... It likes you for a short term lease as it's nice to get off the lot, but it needs to keep looking for the right owner... one ready to be a proper owner of a sleek sedan.
If necessary, the sedan will wait on the lot... in the rain... for the right owner.
(Am I carrying the metaphor too far? )
How about insurance too
Thoughts for your next auto: If it's not yours don't drive it. If it's too fast, trade it in for something more your speed. And if it's not reliable, find one that will be.
Are there twin exhausts and if so do they pass the emissions test.
