Picking out a new model

Whether you are buying a used car, or finding a soulmate,
there's so many questions that need clarification.
How fast is she ? banana
Is she smooth handling ? wink
Is she reliable ? hug
How good is the warantee ? dunno
Is she covered bump her to bump her ? laugh
How about the struts ? dancing
Are there hidden defects ? uh oh
Is this model 'high maintenance' ? doh
Is there room for a spare ? shimmy
Too much 'junk in the trunk' ? help
Will she frequently break down ? crying
Sure, several test drives are critical,
but one never knows for sure, down the road,
when that long term contract is signed. uh oh
While some argue that "it's cheaper to keep her",
perhaps a lease and frequent trade-ins are a more
friendly & beneficial way to approach this. tongue

Be very careful of the 'lemons' out there. scold

Jim, for a Renault I recommend you to keep it just three years, then it will be too expensive! rolling on the floor laughing
Yes, some are more problematic and demanding the longer their lease runs. grin
yes, we are like cars, never borrow them, and after miles, we got sold entirely or just by parts or just left in a park! drinking
... and then the dealer has to break the sad news ... the sleek sedan you wanted doesn't want you.

You see, it's just not what the sedan had pictured. It wanted someone who would drive it nicely in the park in Sundays... would be reckless in mind but never in reality... It likes you for a short term lease as it's nice to get off the lot, but it needs to keep looking for the right owner... one ready to be a proper owner of a sleek sedan.

If necessary, the sedan will wait on the lot... in the rain... for the right owner.

(Am I carrying the metaphor too far? laugh )

How about insurance too
you forgot one thing jim does she run on regular or premium big difference .wink rolling on the floor laughing
Jimnastics,

Thoughts for your next auto: If it's not yours don't drive it. If it's too fast, trade it in for something more your speed. And if it's not reliable, find one that will be.
Most importantly ,
Are there twin exhausts and if so do they pass the emissions test.
Naturally, it's also very important that there's no smoke. scold

Jim you have to check under the hood also.
I may go for one of those sleek electric ones. wink
