What is more of a problem is distance. How can you become a friend with someone who lives in another country. Why would someone wish to date someone in another country. It is not like you say to some lady in the US, "let's meet this Saturday for cinema and pizza," is it.

Then you get ladies who think you may be wanting just a passport to live in their country.

Then of course it may be religion - some people prefer someone the same religion as themselves.

I think if you want to be friends with a lady do a search on the above tab for people in your area. I suppose most of the people from your country will be the same religion as yourself so religion will not be an issue.
Your parents might expect you to get a girl with the same religion. But for friendship I would think religion shouldn't matter.

wow factor, love would drag me to all four corners of the world if the love was real.
@wow factor

i do agree you.you think that people from diffrent continent can never mingle together i never belive that if the two persons are real and they are truthful they can definetly meet if they are playing drama they cant be and to be careful also but for chatting and doing friendship religion,race colour,all these matters should not be emphasized just try to know the person more and more and we really dont know wher and which part of the world god decided our partner.........everything should start with real friendship not with religion and all other matters,,,,no one is perfect in this world,,,,,,

see there are people coming to dis world with out even knowing there religion i mean newly born they dont know thier father,mother even religion as you mentioned if some crisis comes for them wher they will go to which religion for their help.......we have to just think about humanity, religion and all comes next only...instead of telling oh he is muslim dont chat with him or oh he is christian dont chat him......just hate that kind of situation
@ru4eva

i totally agree bro most of ladies think that most of the guys are really looking for fun and stuff here and do anyone think all the ladies here are good,,,,,,,
Arshids,

I agree with any earlier comment that was given. During the dating stage of a relationship, religion wouldn't be a big issue. For me, eventually I would like to meet a women that enjoys going to normal Church services with me. I was brought up to always make Church a priority. Many don't believe in God so when some one brings religion into a conversation people get defensive. I think many people judge others before dating or making friends based off religion. In my opinion, I would rather have a Church going women versus one that never goes to Church. Church is a priority for me but doesn't have to be as important for some one that I date.

See you are pointing out the religion in relationship you are finding a lady she will go to church but she is not fit your way life style then what you will do i never think all will get a better married life i mean a perfect couple its only 50%percent chance may be you will get that from other religion also....love has nothing to do with religion
ARSHID,

Love has every thing to do with religion. We both have our opinions weather they are liked or not. There is no love in religion! Lately I don't reply to a comment unless I've been questioned. In this case I must reply. What do you know of love? What do you know of religion? Where you find God, religion, & the bible so will you find love. Religion in itself gives inner strength to love oneself, thus allowing a person to love another. This is all I want to speak of love and religion to you. This is my opinion & yours was ok also.
yes i agree religion our way of life being a dicipline life........
