Global Warming .. Be part of the solution
I read many articles about global warming, and most of them warning us of how serious this environmental issue is .. I don't want to write about the problem itself as I assume most of us are aware of it .. I rather sharing with you few things that we as individuals can do to delay its future impact:1. Next time when you choose to buy a car choose one with a better fuel economy, that would save money and emit less carbon dioxide.
2. When you buy any item like freezers or water heater look for the star label.
3. Unplug any extra device you rarely use. Also you can replace the regular light bulb with an energy-saving .
4. Plant a tree near to your house and in any possible place.
Of course, in order to make a greater difference everyone should participate in that ..

Replacing cars with the use of bicycles is not a bad idea at all.......(unless we have to travel a far distance, then we can use our cars)
Why not help solve the problem by campaigning to use bicycles in Australia during the summers....
I guess this is where Bio diesel can come in handy as an alternative to petroleum. It is nontoxic...

Wonder why that is never mentioned as it would solve many problems.
In Michigan it is cold here more than warm so you would never know there was any global warming threat though..
So i guess the slogan will be:
"Do like the sceptical oldtimers, dont fly unless u have to

and if you move to a warmer climate , think of how much you would save from not having heat your home in winter

@Swissblueeyes .. Many studies say that the coastal areas will be flooded and hence the size of land areas will be shrinked ..
@Jana28 .. Yeah some say it is not true, but if it was true and we didn't try to do anything then it will be too late .. there are many things can be done that will not only save us money but also may be reasons to stop this problem from aggravating ..

@tatami .. I have always admired the Japanese culture they are very concerned when it comes to environmental issues, and they do a great job in educating kids about the importance of recycling .. Hope things will get better there
