Either didn't agree, OR weren't really seeking advise.
Often they are just using the thread to bring attention to it.
Either way, you likely gave good advise.
So, you did the best you could.

Just a way of getting attention I suppose and looking for compliments... why else?

funny you all say that I said the same of all and I called one guy out on his attention seeking. they were asking to see what could be different. and one girl i gave advice to actually , she stated it is hard to describe your self but my friends see me as... I replied; you should know you best and know who you are. guys like women who are confident and know who they are.
It says when giving advice to a profile give constructive critisism and tell them how you reacted to the first impression! so i did and i was nice and i thought a very well done job. but yes its all about the attention. because you do not put it up there and really not do anything with the advice it especially when its reasonable. you cant just be sloppy with how you present yourself. obviously its always gonna have em complaining of not geting any emails and blah blah blah. I just find it funny. and im not gonna be one of those people who is dishonest with them and saying oh its fine no worries. then I come and tell them the truth there like WHAT? how could she say that? lol sorry for my rampage.... :)
