Sometimes this happens as it takes a couple of mails going backwards and forwards to judge the character of the person with whom you are corresponding. If all of a sudden the mail stops it is usually because the person feels they have nothing in common with you or your character does not suit them. Unfortunately they do not have the courage to say so or the good manners to thank you for the time you have spent writing to them

Hi Missdamianlewis..The men who do this are either "players" or are doing what alot of people do and are chatting to many folks, getting to know them and then deciding who they want to meet and then they stop contacting everyone else and focus on the "one" they chose.

I would suggest to stop taking everyone who contacts you so seriously, date, have fun and play the field untill "one" special guy comes along and you both are on the same page as to wanting a full committment..

Words online are easy to use and men and women both are capable of playing games...Just have fun, dont let the small stuff upset you..

same goes for the guys,5% or less.,i disagree,i respond to everyone,and dont take them seriously at all,but after a few mails,u give a little part of youself away and then they disappear,They are defo playing games and its not nice@all...but im moving on...

aww i no. same here. went as far as 2 dates with a guy seemed 2 go gr8 then nothing. no calls no mails etc... confusion wonder what some people are doin here at all. is it just 2 mess with ur head

Have experienced the exact same thing, it's a big waste of time and effort. After a few months on this site I'm beginning to think that most of the girls here are time wasters. The strangest thing is when girls contact you first, but then don't write back after. Do they just mail random profiles to see who mails back or what, looking for some kind of ego boost?

Am trying to think of a polite thing to write at the bottom of my profile to stop these people messaging me, any suggestions???

It's like digging for gold. You have to shift a ton of mud to find 1 gram of the good stuff. And sometimes there isn't any gold at all.
