Question for the guys

I have a question mostly for the guys but girls feel free to comment also

Just curious, how do you feel about "nice girls?" that is, women who are always polite, considerate and selfless? Can a woman be "too nice?" and is there a point where you find it annoying? Have you ever dated this type of woman and did you wish she wasn't always so nice when you were with her? Don't be afraid to be honest

There is nothing wrong with nice, but sometimes wowen are too nice they be a bit vulnerable, there is no strength in that.

I suppose that there is that meaning of being to nice where it indicates a lack of resolve and a certain weakness of character. In that sense 'nice' has the conotation of a fearful person using niceness to avoid confrontation..

Very well said and I think its true that sometimes we can give off a sense of uncertainty or perhaps a "weak character" when we seek to please too much.

I think the kind of "nice " that you are talking about is just kindness that is real and genuine not the kind where the person fears getting people mad at him or her so they go along with anything just to please...I think that is the difference right there.

@Lana I think it's great to be nice and kind hearted but not to a point where people would take advantage of you. So overly nice is not good. You have to know when to say no and stick up for yourself. Not be a doormat and let people walk all over you.

I know down south is different. I was in Kentucky once and people waved at me as I drove down a country road. I was puzzled because I did not know any of them. My southern friend said to me: "Oh, they wave at strangers here as a way of saying "hi" and "welcome" I thought wow back in Detroit it mean "duck, I heard a gun shot"
