Lying about age????

Hi, I agree that some woman may be dishonest about their age.

I have a girlfriend that insists on lying about her age, by at least 8 years or more since she feels guys her own age 54 look much older than her. She also feels guys her age look very old and she is looking to find a younger guy. Don't want to say too much since she may end up on this site but I think 8 years younger than what she is 54 is pushing it.

I am 50 and apparently am very lucky I am told to look younger for my age so I have no need to lie. Also if a woman wants to find a younger guy she is more likely to lie about her age in my opinion.

I don't agree with lying about your age....but I don't see 8 years as a huge difference, as long as both individuals are ok with that difference. I have my 10 year limit, myself...being 39, I don't date younger than 29, but not older than 49. (and they have to be a young looking 49 )

Some people do lie about age: men and women. But the other side of the coin: I am 58, but do not "look" 58. The other day at a dance, a woman said to me:"You look like a kid with a mustache." Needless to say, I did not ask her out.

I am 44 years old and I have never lied about my age. However, I have met men who have lied about their age. The first time that happened I laughed because I never knew men did that.

I have a question... why do men call grown women "girl"?...
