Smoking

Why do those of us that smoke get rejected as much as we do??? We have been made by our society to be violent criminals. We are not, many great people have been GUILTY of this great crime. At the same time such monsters as Adolf Hitler have been anti-smoking advocates. You would have been shot or put in a concentration camp if you lit up a cigarette around the likes of
"Herr Hitler" who was cruel and inhumane. Do you hate smokers also? Maybe your one of the decent people that show kindness and respect for those of us that smoke. As it is a fact that I do not drink alcoholic beverages, It is also a fact that I do not hate nor reject those that do. angel Now let us be unified and stop this segregation and shake hands handshake and come out NOT fighting, but conversing conversing and care about one another. Thank you all who will consider my calling out to you!

Watchman..I also like the womens profiles, none of them smoke !!!!you get the odd one who smokes like a locomotive and proud of it !!!They are the real ppl..rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing cheers
Watchmantom,

I smoke but am trying hard to quit. I think that smoking is a personal choice and as long as the smoker is respectful of those that do not, then they should be left alone. Some argue that they wind up paying for medical for the smokers, that is so much rubbish! I have known people who have smoked all their lives and passed away without cancer being the cause at 98 years old.

Duckie...I fully agree with you.I read in the paper the other week of someone dying of a smoking related illness. They were 91 for Gods sakeand drove diesel trucks for most of their lives,I dont suppose the fumes of them had any bearing on it..doh bouquet

I don't hate smokers but I do make a distance between them when they are actually smoking. I have a NO SMOKING SIGN in my home and when my friends or family members come and visit, they all respect my wish and don't smoke in my home. peace
Lets have a cig while replying to your blog here.
I hate the reformed smokers as I call them. They blow it back
at you if you are smoking outdoors and they come along. All the hand gestures etc., hmmmm
I think that we should have our own bars, restaurants, cafes, etc., let the non smokers stick together they hate us anyway. Smoking damages your health hmmmm does it indeed? Alcohol kills the brain cells and they never regenerate ever, they are dead they are dead permanently.
So sod it I am good to go, pack of cigs lighter, cuppa cha to go what more can we ask for.

Watchmantom,

I have nothing against smokers, even one of my friends is a chain smoker. Trouble is... I am very sensitive to smoke, because I have light asthma and allergy. When we met and wanted to date, we just had NO place to stay together. According law here, when meal is served is forbidden to smoke of course. There are separate cafes for smokers and for non-smokers. When I was with him in a smoker cafe, I suffered from asthma attack. When he was with me in non-smoker cafe, he suffered from detoxication shocklaugh

At last, we had to split up, because to be still on the phone and skype was useless for relationship.wine

I so agree with you! BTW, did you notice that your profile says you are a nonsmoker? My profile had problems too, I would select one option and save it, go back and it would revert to another thing. Regardless, reformed smokers are the worst!
Duckie, I used to smoke for almost 20 years and quit. It was difficult for me in the beginning. Had to go through so many failures but in the end I finally won out. YOu can do it too....thumbs up
I'm a reformed smoker. smoked heavily for many years, then stopped cold turkey.

For a few years I was okay around smokers, my only request was that they did not smoke in my house or in my car, which they respected.
But then I developed Asthma and smoking proved to be one of the biggest triggers for me. It left me out on the perimeter when we had socials, because I couldn't afford to be where everybody was smoking, which is normally the more lively group.
I find drunks more annoying.
@takeme
I thought it was you that went on all the time about the wrinkes you have and all the saggy bits. I have wrinkes around my eyes as I smile all the time apart from that I recon I look a dam sight healthier than a lot of guys my age that don't smoke.
to Feelinglost thumbs up
I love my wrinkles around eyes, because they were made by my sincere laughing, and I love as well 2 wrinkles near my lips - because of smiling and as well I am proud of my wrinkle in the middle of my forehead, because this wrinkle has been caused by worries about my nearests...cool cheers:
Aswina, well put . . . I love mine too and for the same reasonsapplause applause hug
i have to say a few words on this blog. iam a smoker, but agree with Nearly all that @Takeme says,i hate burning holes in my clothes, the seat of my car, smelling like an ash tray, i hate the smell of cigarretes, those who light up and leave it in the ash tray to burn away,I HATE IT, AND WILL STOP. i will not let this be the reason for NOT finding my partner. cheers

if they stopped to make cigs we would have to pay more income tax, rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
They should make pot legal here. That way at least you would get some fun out of smelling funky.laugh
@robertino

Double faced society!!!! I am fad up with it! I must change this world, I mean go to another one, where there is no evel and good existing hand in hand. Can anyone show me the way, please.grin
Hummm, it cost money, does nothing for the user when they do it(aside from the coolness factor), is proven to cause all kinds of health problems
dunno

But it is a personal choice. Government should not be involved. Oh but you should be required to pay your own medical bills when you get sick from it.
I would date a smoker as long as they were mature enough to know they should quit.
Why don'you ask someone with Emphesema or COPD about smoking?
My aunt has COPD. That got her to finally quit smoking.
Now she's linked to an oxygen tank wherever she goes,
which isn't far. She's another one who was full of excuses
why she couldn't quit. My uncle too. He died of cancer earlier this year, that presumably originated in his lungs, but spread throughout his body. He promised me that he would quit smoking 3 years earlier, than his diagnosis, but never did. Idiots !
Filtered marujuana idea could be a BIG seller, especially in Mexico. laugh
Jimnastics
you said it so eloquently.......... all that needs to be said here
takemetoo, I did not know thatuh oh

But bad habits do not necessarily make bad people. Life's experiences have taught me that. And if they have not to you, just look at history. Many good people have had bad habits.
I never did feel judged by the fact I smoke. I talk to non smokers and its never been an issue. As for someone wanting a non smoker, its a personal preference and they have every right to do so.
Could I Bum a Ciggie off some one please ????rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing cheers
I do not hate smokers, I'm just never around them anymore.
My husband smoked himself to grave......
I would NEVER date a smoker again !
If you like to smoke, enjoy to your health... but not near me bebe..scold
