A second nature photo for your inspection
Since my photo of the doe was such a big hitwith EVERYONE this week
I decided to give you all a view of another photo,
that I posted in the album on my other site on the first.
Afterall, I like rewarding people with more of
what they 'want'.
This photo is of 2 baby groundhogs, siblings.
They are probably only a few months old.
I have quite a few other shots of them
and their mom on my photo site in the same album.
The mother groundhog had 5 little ones total.
Want to name these two ?
Again, you'll have to click on the photo to see it all.

I see you cropped your photo. It looks great !
They also lightened up the photo..Not my most flattering photo of me, but at least they can see it is me, clearly..lol
In my opinion that photo is MUCH
better than the other ones you had
(or perhaps may still have) posted.
A you say, you can better see you in it.
Well whoever did it, my thanks to them..
Since I have no access to anyone's account except
my own, there's no way I could have done this without
your knowledge & permission.
Regardless, CS did a good job.
These are only the babies.
The adults can get about 2 1/2 feet long including the 4 inch tail. They hibernate for the winter underground.
They are busy fattening up now. They mostly eat grass, vegetables, berries, acorns and leaves. The adults can weigh up to something like 25 lbs. In the wild they live 2 to 5 years, but in captivity the record is 22 years. They can climb trees to escape predators, but usually they go underground. They are prolific diggers. They are also known as woodchucks. You may have heard the common tongue twister...
"How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood."
commercial, and are called woodchucks,
they don't really chuck wood.
