The last time I checked, people had the right to make their own choices in lifestyle, clothing, size they want to be, what they want to eat, etc. So why do people feel it necessary to comment on another person's choices? Doesn't this signify problems within the people who do the judging? There's an old saying my last ex taught me - "I'm rubber, and you're glue. Whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you." Or my childhood, "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words cannot hurt me." While would anyone consider it a controversy when the daughter wants to make changes in her life? All I can say is, "Get a life, people!"
