New photos with a BANG !
Moments ago I just posted a new weekly photoalbumon a different site.
All those photos in this album were taken by me
during the first week of July this year.
The album contains 20 nature photos AND
73 photos of fireworks taken during the July 4th weekend.
I like to take fireworks photos for several reasons.
First each firework is fairly unique.
Sort of like ink blots, people can often see different
things in them.
Secondly, they can be a challenge.
Most fireworks photos are not difficult at all.
You use a tripod. Set the shutter speed to be
between 1 to 2 seconds. Use a remote shutter release,
either a cable, or electronic.
Point the camera in the direction of where the fireworks go off.
And wait for one to go off. Viola !
However, I do things a lot different to get full frame dramatic color.
I get up close. So close, that I often get rained upon by burning embers.
I follow the firework up from the ground to
where I THINK the firework is going to go off and then I quickly
lock down the tripod and hit the remote shutter release.
Admittedly, many times I miss.
But those I do get are much more pleasing to me.
Don't worry I won't post 73 here.
However, here is one.
As usual, you will have to click on it to see the whole photo.

Now, I'm going to do something different.
I'm going to let YOU decide, which photo I will post on here next.... probably tomorrow.
Most votes win, otherwise I'll decide if there's a tie.
You choices are;
A) Another different double firework photo
B) A chipmunk dining on a flower
C) A close-up of a bumblebee on a flower
or
D) A dragonfly on a wheat.
YOU make the call !
You can only vote once.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I don't think a helmet was necessary,
but a hat might be a good idea for next time.
1 vote for double firework next.

its a perfectly captured.
U used tripod for that?
Yes, you have to use a tripod for fireworks,
because the shutter speed should be slow.
