God morgen, Copenhagen!Wake up with a slight headache.
After taking the healing shower, I decide to take a self walking tour today. Well, after breakfast, for sure. I walk around to take some photos. Then I take metro to Christiana. The fare is 24 DKK and it is only one stop.
Enjoying the town as it is really beautiful to walk around. I find the church of Our Savior, Vor Frelsers Kirke. Climbing the tower too (Yep, I did!). The ticket is 30 DKK. The view from the top is breathtaking.
Visit the hippies community, afterwards. It is a strange community to me. Well, the people who live there are kind of artistic. Don't like the smell in some houses, though.
Take a metro back to Kongens Nytorv, and decide to take the one hour boat trip from Nyhavn. I choose Netto Banne, which cost me only 40 DKK. It is relaxing after walking so long. Find a good sandwich store too. I have a salmon sandwich (yay for salmon!).
I walk to Stroget, the shopping area. It is similar to Pasar Baru ... well almost. I decide to get lost in Stroget. Taking alley after alley and enjoy the buildings and people watch. I pass the Carlsberg brewery museum and then Tivoli.
After a bit rest and try to figure a way back, I find a stall which sell fruits. I buy the fresh cherry. It is really good! Don’t mind walking and eating cherry. Hey, I can multi task!
Decide to walk to Little Mermaid. It is certainly far, but I have many beautiful buildings to see on the way. The Russian Orthodox church is interesting too.
My first impression after seeing the infamous Little Mermaid, yes, she is small. Can’t understand why lots of tourists like me want to have their photos taken there. Well, maybe to show their friends that they have been here, in the beauty city of Copenhagen
It is my last night staying in my current hotel. Tomorrow I will check out to move to another hotel to join a tour. A bit sad, but it is time to move on.
