What's going on
Today was a fun, but partially disappointing day.The best part was that, I woke up alive.
That's ALWAYS a good thing.
Another good thing was that, for a change it wasn't raining today.
Thus, I got up early this morning to leave for my
softball double header (2 games back to back) this morning.
On the way to the game about sunrise, I saw 3 deer grazing in
a field and even got a photograph of them, before they ran off.
There was one male yearling with small antlers and 2 very little ones,
that look like they had only recently lost their spots.
The bad part was, that we lost both games to a team we beat last week.
The good part was that I got several hits and made some nice catches in left field.
For some reason I feel some special pride, I guess,
that I can outperform the much younger guys on the team.
While I'm in my 40's, much of the team is in their 20's and yet,
I still bat leadoff and play left field. It's an 18 year old and older league.
Indeed, on all 4 teams that I play on (4 different leagues),
the coaches make substitutions to get everyone in,
but they NEVER substitute anyone in for me,
even when I ask them to.
For instance, when we are winning by more than 10 runs,
I feel this is a great time to put someone else in to get playing time.
I don't mind coming out then at all.
But, even when I ask, they won't do it.
After the softball games today, I went home & showered
and then drove to meet a friend at an Irish American Club.
I am not Irish (that I know of
), nor a member of the club, but a teammate is, and he invited me to be a guest.
The club is like a private sports bar.
About 30 people (guys & gals) watched 12 TVs tuned to various baseball & football games that were currently covering games being played then.
The other nice part is, that they had a very nice free buffet.
I pigged out on chicken marsala, Italian meatballs, beef ribs, manicotti and a salad.
I also had a dark chocolate & almonds bar for dessert. Everything was yummy !!!
The bad part is, that my favorite football team lost
and there were no appealing (to me) women at the club.
Well, that was my day.
So, does anyone want to tell me either what happened on here today,
or with your weekend ?

and today my washing machine tried to kill me, so in all not a very good wkend for me
That was nice!
And came home and start to preparing a report for tomorrow morning.
The rain came drop by drop did not wash the soil yet.
Still dry and hot...
So, no telling who will make the finals yet.
What happened that made the blogs "cranky" ?

However, please do not try to join her by getting juiced by
your washer.
However, some ladies think I'm sweet.

those guys from michigan i was talking about are not hot.. lol
so, it is very unlikely they will find that..
Maybe it's all that yogurt.
I never thought she was all that good looking anyway.
She did have nice legs though.
shes not that old really.. i think shes early 50s but she looks older than that.. age hasnt done her well at all.
She was born on nov 22nd, 1958, making her almost 53.
It wasn't too hard for her to break into show business.
learnt from my mom that one my former classmate died cos of stomach cancer, so so sad.... he was only 25, very handsome, athletic, health looking and very very kind(even extremely kind), he was diagnosed with it only a year ago and hsnt told anybody except his family....so it was a very sudden loss.
