Hiding money woes from hubby
A headline on Google says, "Wife threatens banks to hide money woes from hubby." We've been talking about honestly in the blogs, and here's a woman who lost her job a year ago, and doesn't tell her husband. The bills piled up, and last week he got sufpicious, so he was going to go to the bank to check it out. She panicked and called in bomb threats to the banks so that they would be closed when her husband tried to go to the bank.Excuse me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it have been better to have told her husband immediately when she lost her job? I don't presume to know the dynamics of this particular couple, but most husbands would be very empathetic to their wife if there was a job loss. Anyway, this is what happens when spouses are not honest with each other in critical financial situations. Job loss would certainly be considered a major disaster in most marriages nowadays. Now the FBI is charging the women with multiple bank bomb threats, and the husband will see his wife go to prison for umpeen years. Sad, but she made her own bed.
