Song of the wind
Yesterday was a beautiful, but quite windy day.The sun was shining brightly with just a few clouds
on the horizon and it was warm.
I spent the last part of the day at Carnegie Lake in Princeton.
In the distance I saw two bald eagles perched in
a tree on the opposite side of the lake.
Geese, cormorants and ducks flew by.
However, when a young redtail hawk flew near
the eagles, the male eagle screamed out,
"Hey hawkie, get your own territory dude"
Well, that's what I thought it might have been
in eagle speak.The sunset was truly gorgeous !
I got pictures of it, some of which I also
included light reflecting off the lake and silhouettes of
flying geese, or the women's Princeton rowing team.
Eventually, after I crop these photos,
I will include them in a photoalbum dedicated to sunsets
already posted on another site.
Since it was so windy yesterday, because of the title of this song,
I kept thinking of the song, which kept playing in my mind.
Did you ever have a song that kept playing in your mind for some
reason ?
