For All Dog/Animal Lovers Here

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the belovedhead, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

That is so beautiful and brings tears to my eyes when i think of the wonderful Dogs I have lost In my lifetime..Their Memory will always live in me on earth till i one day get to be with them again..
Thankfully I have three Germen Shepherds with me now that mean the world to me King,Prince and Molly..

I love all Dogs but then again i love all animals!

Nice quotation Warriorwith!

This is something I empathise with as I affectionately remember all the animal companions I have had weather my own pets or animals who came into my life. The soul of animals is energy like our own sould and indestructable........communication with departed pets should be as ordinary as that with departed humans..........we all have heard of stories of pets that return and by small but significant signs show us they are still there arround us..........

Thank you so mush for this. I too have lost many, many beloved pets. I still miss every one of them and would love to see them again. I have a small animal graveyard in my garden that is full of my "friends" and when I am in the garden, I say a prayer for each and every one of the dogs, cats, and rabbits. As I sit here crying for the lost "friends", I am thankful that someone else feels as I do, that we will all be together someday. We will never know a more loyal friend that gives unconditional love.
