A flower for the ladies
Have you ever noticed that giving a lady a flowerhelps her smile ?
I have many times. Thus, I like to give women flowers,
especially for no other reason than to elicit a smile.
I can't speak for all men,
but I can tell you from experience,
that this man doesn't like to get flowers,
ESPECIALLY at work.
I remember that a girl I was dating sent
a dozen roses to me at my laboratory
at the university, where I used to work
for our 1 year anniversary.
It was very embarrasing.
Every one of my so called pals ribbed me about it.
I can laugh about it now, but it wasn't funny then.
Indeed, I begged her to please never do that again.
She couldn't understand what was wrong with this.
I explained to her the ribbing I had to endure about these
flowers and she agreed not to do it again.
Remember ladies there are other gifts you can give us
instead of flowers. Do I have to be explicit about this ?
Nonetheless, I just posted another weekly photoalbum
on another site. It contains 75 nature photos.
Among all sorts of animals, there are several of flowers,
including 2 of a water lily.
Here is a close-up one.

And now, the dozen roses story: I have received a "bouquet" of balloons from a lady I was once dating. I don't think I would really mind getting a dozen roses anytime. So far nothing has arrived.

already brought smiles on my face....
