Congress is on strike. No solutions coming out of that body at all.

Politics No 1 lesson: You get the Government, you voted for!

Politics aside: either as an individual or group (friends); have a brain storm session on "Own Business Route to take" Try & be your own Boss & form your own company - look for what's needed or necessary in the community & try provide solutions, not easy - but better than sitting at home.
I feel for you - especially in developing countries; where Governments don't take/provide the initiative - life becomes tough!
We have similar situations in SA.

Eloray is correct, create your own job and rely on only you, the governments are nothing more than predators riding on the hard work of others, don't get become one of them scold
What an easy solution be your own boss. The problem with that is do you have the money for all that.

Meka dont take this wrong its just a suggestion....you should create a new email address that is more professional. Employers can jump to conclusions about a person if their email address sounds well un professional (thinks like baby or the big whatever).

I have been out of college and work for over 8 years.I know how those recent grads feel.
And I would be VERY HAPPY to give you one, IF (a) I was resident in your country, and (b) Had a business local to where you lived.
MEKA20 .. I hope that one finds you!
Mysst .. Applause for that comment! (You have an interesting and friendly looking visage!)
I do need one too. If only not for a sibling, a couple of furry friends and a number of bird pets, I could be contented with the recent job I have. Young graduates have a lot of choices unlike us in the midlife. Me, as I don't really know Nihonggo and being 54 at that, find it hard to land a stable job. First the interviewer would ask if I know kanji which I really don't. Just thinking of the trainees who never know the language nor the kanjis yet they are given jobs in some good factories. I can't comprehend the logic of all of these contradictions. And the problem is worldwide. sad flower
Not being a college graduate, my choices were somewhat limited to labor-type jobs. I would never have been considered for an office job.

I have been preaching for decades about people having their own business, so they can be independent of "the man". Some of the happiest times of my laugh were the years I had my own businesses (70's to 80's). And now I have the buttons and the equipment to put them together. People think that the huge corporations are the backbone of America. Wrong! It's the small businesses that are the backbone of America. The one-shop cleaners, the local tire shop, the restaurant you favor so much, the mom-and-pop store that has such endearing quality - these small businesses are the backbone of America. They give to the community. The big corporations just take, and give very little back.
