this weekend :)
This weekend was wonderful. I spent it with my family I went out of town with my sister & mom to my other sisters. We decided to have an xmas weekend...yes its early but it was worth it.Due to our conflicting schedules we won't be able to celebrate xmas on dec 25th this year. Last year we didn't get together. So this year it feels special. On my next weekend off we're having our xmas dinner early....& that's ok as long as we get together.
We put up the xmas tree & decorated it....& her place. Make some cookies. Made a few spirited drinks. Played some xmas music also. We stayed up & had a blast.
When we made cookies my niece wanted to help. She was excited & even had her apron on....but she fell asleep before we started. Today we baked them up. I even made mimi cupcakes in a cupcake maker.
Lol the best part was when my niece (3) & my nephew (1) when we weren't looking would take the ornaments off the tree. So we put them back up again....& they kept doing it again.

It was fun & it felt good to be a kid again. I think its ok to be young at heart at any age. I only have a tiny tree to decorate...but I some other decorations also.
I don't have the boa....it was someone elses (a cute guys lol). But I'm sure the boa will have a nice xmas. Yes I did have fun.

I like putting up xmas decorations & stuff end of nov or beginning of dec... that it feels more festive & you can get in the spirit. And the stores already have xmas stuff up & always early.

I did enjoy the wknd & so did everyone else. I do look forward to having the decorations up early. So you can enjoy looking at the festive display. And when feeling down it cheers you up especially you remember those happy memories.
It is a great time being with with family especially the little helpers they make it more interesting
