THE DEFINITION OF A CHRISTIAN

Corinthians 2:4-5 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.



1 Corinthians 2:14-16 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for,
“Who has known the mind of the Lord
so as to instruct him?”

But we have the mind of Christ.


I got a message from a blog I wrote saying anyone can say their Christian etc. She was right but in this great land you have religious freedom to label yourself a Christian by law. Now I am anti bias news media and think they are cons and conscienceless. Now I am not anti republican I am a fan of Ronald Reagan and I know there are some Spiritual republicans out there. Just to clear up something I don't approve of attacking people personally due to politic's as the Republicans have done Obama and their attacks against this man really shows poor character and they are threatened by him or someone to oppose them like him in the near future. If you can't win an election by your policies and people believing in you than don't run. Your current nest of republicans are poor in character folks with radical views and deceitful in their tactic's in running for office. And Yes I was inspired by the Holy Spirit in the blog I wrote concerning the issue, I didn't throw that stone Jesus did all my words speaking of the Lord are inspired and anointed by the Holy Spirit.


Now back to the subject here about who is a Christian and who isn't. Paul was a genius and back than as now Christians had to deal with con artist using the Lord's name to make a living etc and used other peoples words or preaching to well make easy money. Now Paul being a true believer in Christ and had understanding of Salvation a thinking man and a great teacher understood that the foundation of someone's faith wasn't based on personal righteousness, or any legalism but solely on the very Presence of God. If we judged people based on legalism we all go to hell and we all will drive each other nuts nit picking etc.


Paul pretty much explained through all his letters the definition of a Christian. Discernment through the Holy Spirit is the only way to tell if someone has salvation in action or not. Jesus spoke of salvation like eating and drinking. If we don't eat or drink in time our bodies die. The same thing goes for our souls, if we don't keep a Spiritual connection with Christ in time we fall away and our sinful nature controls us once again. Anyone can be good by nature and have morals etc. anyone can. But only people who pray for God's Love daily are living Salvation and have surety of heaven.

I have debated many and many can't answer my questions and have a hard time understanding simple things. One guy said I can't loose my Salvation I am sealed by the Holy Spirit, I calmly said under the influence of the Holy Spirit how can you be sealed by the very Spirit you deny? See the Spirit of Grace brings conviction, conscience, sometimes guilt for things we do and many people reject this and this is the act of rejecting Jesus and His simple salvation plan. Basically God keeps us in check through our consciences and that is a good thing amen. An anything goes mind set creates murderers, rapist, and just evil acts people conspire against each other daily.
