When they ask me
When people ask meif I have any tattoos,
I tell them,
"I do not believe
in putting ugly ink stains
on a biological work of art".

There are children with better drawings on
their notebooks, than what most tattoo salons offer.
No one with a working brain is going to line up
and pay money to see doodlings by a derelict with an ink needle.
A Renoir, a Van Gogh, Rodin, Dali, Matisse, Monet, Cezanne, etc....
That's true art.
Skin is our body's largest organ.
It has several important biological functions.
However, your body is your business.
You are free to muck it up however you like
with whatever skin stain doodlings you desire.
Proud that you sat in a chair while someone stained you and took your money ?
I can understand pride in your children
or
pride in graduating from college
or
pride in writing a book.
How can you possibly be proud of a tattoo ???
What did you do to "accomplish" this ?
I think you limit yourself when you are heavily tattooed. Not many business that cater to the public will hire you that way.
I've acknowledged that.
No, I wouldn't ever let any tattoo 'artist'
within 6 feet of my skin.
They might as well write on it
"stole your money and f'd-up your skin"
and then sign their name under it.
i dont mind somebody havin a tattoo...as long as its theirs not mine...coz i bet it hurts too much!!!
@ nice thats brilliant!
It should be manditory that the person
has to walk around with a temporary one
for at least a year, before they can get
a permanent one.
I bet a LOT of people would not elect
to get a permament one, if that was the case.
Forget that PhD., MD, or law degree.
The ultimate ascension in society nowadays is
the tattoo 'artist' and the rap 'musician'.
Who says people with one brain cell can't enjoy urban poetry.
