When they ask me

When people ask me
if I have any tattoos,
I tell them,
"I do not believe
in putting ugly ink stains
on a biological work of art".

peace

So called art & great art are two very different things.
There are children with better drawings on
their notebooks, than what most tattoo salons offer.
No one with a working brain is going to line up
and pay money to see doodlings by a derelict with an ink needle.
laugh
A Renoir, a Van Gogh, Rodin, Dali, Matisse, Monet, Cezanne, etc....
That's true art.

Skin is our body's largest organ.
It has several important biological functions.
However, your body is your business.
You are free to muck it up however you like
with whatever skin stain doodlings you desire. peace
"Proud" ????

Proud that you sat in a chair while someone stained you and took your money ? doh laugh

I can understand pride in your children
or
pride in graduating from college
or
pride in writing a book.

How can you possibly be proud of a tattoo ???
What did you do to "accomplish" this ? dunno
hey jim...as u can read i said each to their own! yes i am proud of my tattoos cause they have meaning to me, reminders and yes i did pay good money for them! if u dont want ur body inked up its ur choicecomfort
GOT INK ?????rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing grin cheers
I've never liked tattoos myself.I don't like the look of them. What others put on or in their bodies is their business though.

I think you limit yourself when you are heavily tattooed. Not many business that cater to the public will hire you that way.
That's correct it is everyone's choice.
I've acknowledged that.

No, I wouldn't ever let any tattoo 'artist'
within 6 feet of my skin. laugh
They might as well write on it
"stole your money and f'd-up your skin"
and then sign their name under it. laugh
It used to be something, only a sailor too drunk to remember having it done, would wake up to. laugh
heyy jim...i wanna have this someday....

laugh laugh laugh
A temporary one sounds OKgrin
L - I think they ALL should be temporary.
It should be manditory that the person
has to walk around with a temporary one
for at least a year, before they can get
a permanent one.
I bet a LOT of people would not elect
to get a permament one, if that was the case.
Make sure the tattoo person knows how to spell or keeps a dictionary handy.

IF they even know how to use a dictionary. laugh
