Remembering....
....when we were all small kids...What was it that you wanted when you grew up, or to become and too do in this lifetime?
Did you want to become a fire wo/man, or how about a police wo/man, or perhaps a racecar driver?
These are just examples, but think back when you were a small kid, between the ages of 5-12yrs old.

What had stopped you from being a musician?...I have a soft spot for musicians.

you know, like a Doctor, Lawyer, Teacher, stuff like that.
I used to whistle "Sweet Georgia Brown" and I would practice and practice and practice. I wasn't any good and all that ended about age 13 or 14!

when i was 15 i had my own invention. I called it a Motorize Girl scooper.Never could get Patent

I'm in healthcare too! But not in a way I imagined or expected. But I help seniors & some adults.
I love traveling too.
I always work evenings so I get to put them to bed. When I first started a lady resident living there told me...."always say good night when you got to bed....it means a lot to me but maybe not to you or others" I said good night to her, plus I gave her a big hug & she thanked me.....the next day she passed on.
So every night I say good night because I don't know if that's will be their last. So I get to say good night plus give hugs...& sometimes a kiss. I even get requests for residents for me to put them to bed.
I love good nights too but not goodbyes,...

OMG, I remember the Harlem Globetrotters, I use to watch them on t.v. when I was much younger!!!...
So did you give up playing hoops?
I wanted to be a teacher, dancer. movie star, wife and mom.
I ended up not marrying no kids, started a business in
commercial arts and photography.
Now I am retired do fine art paintings and photography just
for me, Finally!!!!!
Sorry to answer so late. I work at night and I just got home!
I played basketball in high school but at 5' 8" college was not even a dream. I was too short and too slow.
Intramural basketball though (at Pasadena City College, Pasadena, CA) 5 of us "shorty" guys grouped together and we beat everyone of the teams in the intramural class. We even beat this team of tall guys. All over 6' tall!!!
I too wanted to search and dig for dinosaur bones as well.
Wasn't much into cars though, but I did like trucks and I could name the type of truck by the grill in front.
I love trains, and even had a train set when I was younger.
Would you have done something else if you weren't allowed to drive trains anymore?
