Trillions of Dollars Unaccounted For . . . Part 1
We need to do something more than just have issues presented to us on television in the illusion that we are well informed as a result and that we have participated by choosing from what they give us, or by playing the game of left versus right and learning no more than what our favorite host has to say on TV or radio. To confirm what you want to believe while blaming all of the ills of society on the other side of the fence is to spend forever looking to be right and blaming someone else rather than to find out what is really happening in the world. Do those who wield the most power behind the scenes care only about Democrats and Republicans? Well. . . they look for a little financial leverage where they can get it, sometimes through nefarious means--yes, we expect the rich to do that. However, they've had more money than they ever needed for a very long time. It is power that they're after and the control of money is a means to that end. Where the money is of course, the real power lies--as long as that power remains unexposed. While they control the media, as well as the government through various means, it is easy enough to remain under-exposed.The link for Part 2 of this blog can be found in the right column.
