Davey Jones r.i.p.
Former lead singer for the brit/USA pop band The Monkees died earlier today from an apparent heart attack at the age of 66.
He and his wife live very close to where I am now.
You may perhaps recall hearing songs such as;
Take the Last Train to Clarksville,
I'm a Believer, Daytime Believer, or Valerie.
Those were by the Monkees who were originally
brought together as results of a contest for
a TV show of the same name.
The group was manufactured around Davey Jones,
who was a child actor for a British soap opera.
The other members of the band were from the USA
and winners in a contest.
OK, here's the weird part.
Davy died earlier today at Stuart Memorial Hospital today.
Three days ago I visited outside that hospital,
as they have 4 ponds and a stream.
It's one of many places where I photograph herons and egrets.
Regardless, since that day, every night for the past 3 nights
I've been dreaming something about a heart attack.
There's nothing wrong with my heart, so I didn't pay it much mind, until now. Coincidence ? Yes ! Weird nonetheless.
