The Bakers Dozen ...=;^)...

The idea of the baker's dozen, i.e. Thirteen ,the unlucky number, is thought to come from an old belief that the baker had to keep his peace with the Devil and thus baked 'twelve for the baker and one for the Devil.' =;^)
