Well pffft!
Got a call from the real estate agent this afternoon. They turned down my offer, made a counter-offer that's just ridiculous. The house is going to need some stuff done to it to pass FHA inspection, or any lendor for that matter, and they don't want to do anything to it, they want to sell it as is.I told her my bottom line dollar-wise if they did whatever work is required, and if they won't take that then they can watch the house fall in and sell it to the neighbors for the lot, cause that's what is gonna happen. Makes me no difference, I can find something else. They must not want to sell very badly, and I know she's getting sick of it. Not sure but I don't think they've had any offers on it, the one guy that was interested in it before me got redeployed and pulled out on it. I told her if they would take my counter offer to give me a call, otherwise I'm moving on. I do have one little concession I'll make if they come back with another counter, but I didn't tell her that of course. I really don't expect to hear back from them about it.
Oh well, whatever's meant to be will be.
