On a global scale, I think so, but hate is far too easy...sadly.
Absolutely, love is the ONLY thing that can stop us feeling totally alone in the universe and from destroying the planet and each other.
Love between people, countries, love of nature, love of animals, love for the young and for the elderly. Human compassion is what makes us transend our more basic instincts. Seeing and empathising with our fellow man or woman and realising that deep down we all are human and we all want to be loved.
When the world seems like all is lost and bad, knowning that you are loved is the greatest feeling to have.
