He had a dog parti called Såm, that was "as wise as a man".
That one was the first thay killed as he was outside up on a hill nearby. When thay killed him he howled loudly and Gunnar said "they treat you ill now dear Såm, it will not be long between us"

yes morgan i would realy like to read njals saga, i am trying to get books on the sagas, now reading havla and also learning about the desputes between loki thor an the frost giants lol.
cant learn to speak a language without knowing the history and culture behind it cheers
