Let's....

...say I were to visit anyone of you in your home town, what would you have planned for my visit, where would you take me so that I may learn about your country, and what foods would you introduce me too?

Would we hang out with your friends or family, or would we just enjoy each others company?

WoW my little town only has 400 people in it not much to see....The state of Missouri has a lot to offer though..And would get you some Kansas City BBQ Ribs....

cool
Pizza and video at my place. Welcome. wave
Hello hello......hmmm dunno...canada isn'=t much different then US Hi sugar!drinking wave
Well... how about Tim Horton's and a hockey game? laugh

Or we could visit the mall where the Canadians come to shop... or the other mall where the Canadians come to shop... (seems strange that our prices are better... though I have heard the variety of goods (clothing mostly?) might be the reason). dunno

Seriously though... a walk along the lake in the evening ... that would be one of my first choices. thumbs up Perhaps catch one of the waterfront concerts during the Summer.
So Sugar

You have had some nice offers where do think you will go?????

cool
Dear Sugar, Well let me put in my bid . I couldn't have you here without takeing you to our wonderfull beaches . I also would not feel right about keeping you alone at night while Old San Juan is calling us for some night life of wine song and dancing . In between all the normal touristy stuff, I would plan a day to go into the central part for a secluded picknick near a mountain falls . A tour around the Isalnd to my second house in the southwestern corned would also be in order . I know how we can secure a boat to take us to a private Island ofshore for a day of sun sand and privacy . I also would introduce you to my friends for some Island adventures with a group of fun seekers like yourself . There are many other things here to ocupy your time and it is impossable to see it all so you just will have to make plans to come back for more adventures in paradise . . . .hug
Well sugar I don't think I could teach you anything about my country that you don't already know seeing as we are both Canadians.Maybe we could just sit,eat good food, drink good wine and bad mouth Harper.laugh
@Cyber, horseback riding in the mountains sounds breathtaking, and canooing is something I would most enjoy, I love the waters.
And since I don't drive, and you're a lousy cook, it would be a great trade off for you to show me the sites of B.C. and methinks I will make you some great meals that will make you think that you're at the most classiest restaurant in the world.

@morgen, pizza and what video would we watch? How about I make the pizza or any food of your choice and we'll sit back and eat and just enjoy each others company while watching a video that you picked out. Sounds like a fun and relaxing time to be had.

Come to my world, dressed like that, and I'll put you to work making me money.
@brazilian, I would love to go bike riding and hiking with you, thenlater we can both show off our culiary skills to your family and friends. Now that would be entertainment!!!

@My Knightkiss Awwww paradise, and a private Island, is a dream of mine for oh so long. And who to better spend some time with other than my Knight. I think you would melt my heart so easily with all the adventures you have to offer. I always wanted to wake up in the morning on an Island and pick a mango off a tree and eat it for my breakfast and then wash it down with some coconut water.

@Mary, too funny my Canadian sistarolling on the floor laughing laugh rolling on the floor laughing laugh
@inthemind, a walk along the lake and a waterfront concert would be most enjoyed by me. I have been to Buffalo before, but to see a live hockey game with you while drinking a Tim Horton's cup of coffee would be great.

Hey Sugar,

If you came here, we'd go out somewhere cool for dinner and then we'd go to my favourite place to see a concert (since I know you like music too!head banger) which is the fabulous Commodore Ballroom. (OLP was just there last night :( Then during the day we'd go to Stanley Park and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. We could also take the gondola ride up to Grouse mountain for breath taking views of the city or even go to Whistler! Or we could just go boating and hang out in English Bay...best to do in the summer though so later in the evening we we can watch the fireworks!cheers
@Tarzan, my family comes from Dublin, I'm half Irish, my Aunt Uncle and cousins still live there, but I've never been there.
It's the one place I do want to come and see, it's a dream of mine for so long now. Now why do they call it Sugarloaf mountain? In the pic you posted, it does look like sugar was spilled all over the mountain.

@Edteddybear Oh my, what a time to be had Ed, trout fishing is something that I'm good at, I pretty much know how to catch a fish, bate a hook, and gut and clean it and cook it as well. Everyone of those adventures that you would take me on would be an adventure that I won't ever forget. Your home town sounds like there is a lot to do. Now I have heard of Venice Beach before, but what are buskers?
And going to the Indian casinos sounds entertaining and wild as well. What kind of church do you go too?, cause it sounds like a good one, with Blues playing and you on the congas, hope its not like the boring catholic churches that I had to go too.

@Musicteddybear Oh my gosh, Music, I would love to go to any concert with you girl, good times will be had for sure. Met Mr Rain Maida before in Toronto at MuchMusic, the man did not let go of my hand for an hour. What a singer he is, love his band as well. Now Whistler I heard was a great mountain to go skiing on. I think you and I would have a blast just hanging out with each other.

in the cellar - for electro chocs and deep acupuncture, not forget application of ticks and bloody leeches!tongue
its pretty quite over here , as I dont go to pubs or bars or night-clubs , I just stay here by my computer watching tv , with the cat on my knee at night wave teddybear
@guadalteddybear I don't think I would want to come to Germany to experience the electro shocks and deep acupuncture, sounds frightening and scary. Isn't ticks and leeches a Tool song? I'm sure of it that it is. Its one of my favorite bands in the world.
teddybear teddybear
@virgohug kiss teddybear No virgo we would finish your boat, then go sailing all over New Zealand to see your beautiful country. We'll take the computer and the cat with us.
teddybear teddybear hug

@virgokiss kiss hug
sounds perfect to me virgo. the simple things are the best.
So sugar, unless you are a player why dont you get ur bum over to virgo, and not just talk about it? U did this half a year ago also. Will we see it each half year for a couple of more years?
Perhaps.

banana
@morgen, first off, I'm no player, I like virgo for who he is, and every relationship in my book must start out as friends.
In my profile I stated that I'm just not yet ready to date anyone, and I don't think I need your advise on who I should choose to date. And besides, virgo stated that he doesn't want a smoker which I am. And not to be rude but what virgo and myself talk about shouldn't be any of your business. You should stop trying to be a match maker for others and start looking for someone yourself or hope that someone on this site likes you for who you are.
Dear Sugar, Good morning to you. Here I brought you some coffee. . coffee2 . . . You said that you wanted to wake up and pick a fresh mango for breakfast . I don't have a mango tree but my neighbor does . I sometimes sneak a few off it ( I think he knows ). They are actually better if you pick them and let then over ripe for a few days ( sweet as sugar ) . Now as for the coconut water , they have what they call " coco frio " which is nothing more than a coconut chilled down and the top sliced off for drinking it with a straw . You can add some scotch to it for a " coco whisky ". It is the real Island drink ( I can still make you a pina colada if you so desire ) . Activities can be quiet and relaxing or as adventurous as you want . It is all up to your desires that day . We really are spoiled down here with sun sand surf and the cool mountains . You can go hiking in the wilderness or island hoping or just plain sailing .Not to mention the night life . So when you get here just tell me what you have in mind . We can accomadate most anyting . . . . .As always your Knight ( and personal tour host )
You're right sugarbum.
Yes.

wave
For sure Sugarbum we'd have a good time! And I'm a little jealous you saw OLP at Much Music!snootylaugh

teddybear
U r right: Germany is not worth it.handshake
Hi Sugarbum:

Sorry I'm so late in answering you but I flew to Portland, Oregon to see my kids and G-kids for a few days and I have been busy with them.

Fishing is a lot of fun but having simple neat conversations while we swizzled on wine is good too.

I like the fact that you know about trout fishing. That would be so cool to do (the fish prep) while cranking up the BBQ to cook some fresh veggies and fresh trout back at my humble domicile!

La Verne is a simple little town full of nice little spots to have a nice meal and a drink. To do some dancing too. Fortunately, Southern California has alot of close choices for entertainment.

The term "Buskers" is actually a British name for the street corner entertainers that play for tips. Venice Beach is full of these people! Oh yes, we could also take some salt water gear and fish off the piers, too!

I am a charismatic worshiper and I always refer to myself as a "Holy Roller". They're actually better known as Pentecostals. NO NO NO!!!! RC church for me. Been there and it was not good! Our pastor is a cool dude and he is actually the lead singer in the band.

Yeah, we would have fun!
