55 yrs ago, I was born to a Filipino mother and a Chinese father. My father being Chinese was obviously disappointed. He was expecting a he. The firstborn is a she and me the second born is a she again. Well, I could be making disappointments for 55 yrs now.

Anyway, happy birthday to myself and to the others who are celebrating today too.

My daughter just turned 47 and I am just as delighted as I was the first time I saw her. Like your father I was disappointed for about a minute or so. When the doctor announced a girl I frowned. He frowned at my frown and said "Yes, come and see her". She was lying in a glass like thing resembling an aquarium. I saw her beauty and I was immediately captivated. I would not trade her for anyone else EVER! She's also my pal!
