* lies and truth *
"Politicians are like diapers. They both need changing regularly and for the same reason." - Anonymous
“Truth is not determined by majority vote.” - Doug Gwyn
"People often say that, in a democracy, decisions are made by a majority of the people. Of course, that is not true. Decisions are made by a majority of those who make themselves heard and who vote - a very different thing." - Walter H. Judd
"If you don't read the newspaper, you are uninformed; if you do read the newspaper, you are misinformed." - Mark Twain
Anyway, according to Abraham Lincoln, “If you once forfeit the confidence of your fellow citizens, you can never regain their respect and esteem. It is true that you may fool all of the people some of the time; you can even fool some of the people all of the time; but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.”
We really need to be wise so that we could discern between lies and truth because not all news are truth. Let us pray for wisdom so that we will make the right choice. Think carefully before you cast your votes!
