Did you miss me?
For the past 5 months I have stayed away from CS. I guess there comes a time in everyones life when we need to step back and concentrate on other things.As a child my dream was to grow up and make my parents proud. That didnt happen. Then as a young adult I wanted to be a wife and mother that didnt happen.
I came here to make friends but I find I havent been missed.
My life hasnt changed much I still am unemployed and less than a month away from being homeless. But I know I will survive with or without a man.
So to my friends I have missed you all..

I'm sorry to hear that you have been having a rough time. But you can still make it in life. Get on job sites and apply all over the place. I am currently working for a staffing company. It's worked for me so I am going to e-mail you with the name of that company and you can give it a try.

Try hard for the work, maybe Ed's advice will help. Most important, think positively and don't blame yourself, it's self-destroying!
I really had no money to study and live and eat at the time , so i offered myself as a live in cook and cleaner for a family. I cooked the evening meal, made sandwiches for the lunches the next day, did washing and ironing , i got accommodation , my own room and all my food. The family really welcomed me and took good care of me. I stayed with them for a whole year . It was wonderful for me at the time because I had little expenses. Why don't you try this type of work, you might even get some money as well. Or be a live in nanny maybe. Even if you do not get paid, at least you can work for your board and keep. From this you can gain experience get a reference and later get a paid job. Why don't you get into learning something new, does not the govt there provide free adult education for unemployed people there? I just try to offer suggestions ...... best wishes to you dear.Saskia
