Mai's New Start At CS

I know, I know, how lame is that title? Haha. I'm just killing some time this morning till my Roommate is up and about, and I thought "why not try out that blog thing i keep seeing?" So here I am. A Little about me:

My name is Mai, and I am 18 (almost 19!) I was born in Oregon, USA- and I was raised by my mother (whom I adore.. she is my hero). Not really sure what happened to my dad, never really cared enough to ask. About six months ago I moved here to Tokyo Japan as a sort of 1-year vacation before heading off to college (I'm still trying to decide what I want to study). I currently live with my Friend Himoko K. Who is letting me mooch off her considerable knowledge of photography so when i go back to the states in another 6 months I'll have a headstart on studies if I choose to go into photography (which i might). I currently work part time as an amateur model at the photography school Himoko attends, but otherwise I'm a free spirit.

I like to spend my time wandering around Tokyo, people watching and taking photos of all the interesting things I see, soaking up as much culture as I can until I leave ^_^ You can usually find me down at the Subway Station, or in the shopping district.

I just started on CS a few days ago (day before yesterday? i think) and though for the most part all I seem to attract are really old men who think I'm eye-candy, I have met a few really fun and sweet individuals that I already adore and consider my friends... I hope to meet some more ^_^

Right now its about 5:30 am, and hte sun is coming up so its about time i strap on my shoes and go for my morning jog- but I think my roomie wants to get some indoor shots today after her first class, so I better make it quick ^_^ Maybe I'll write more later.
