Hipocrites

Some people talk a lot about being on time and how important it is to them to be punctual and then they act in exact opposite way as if they do not have any respect for others time. They go to the extent wherein they forget the common courtesy to even call you and say - hey I got an emergency or that I can not make it for whatever reason. It is annoying and says so much about them. I ended up wasting my 3 hours discussing to such a person who talked a lots about importance of time and then today - after confirming an appointment a few hours over the phone, does not show up at all and his phone is not being replied. Ended up wasting time to commute and waiting for 30 minutes on-site. Oh and he is like what 40 something or 50 something and holds a very responsible position too - not sure how he managed to climb up the ladder with these attributes. The only excuse for this behavior would be that he fell ill suddenly or had an accident. Hope not but sometimes this makes me wonder about the level of people I have to deal with. Not sure if I spell it right , could never do it - hipocrites.....................................................................................One good outcome of the day is I asked T and got the prototype of the first ever cooler that I had made a few years ago and he said he was going to market it but did not go ahead due to various reasons. Well, the market for that cooler is shrinking fast but it is still there and it is still huge so I guess it maybe a good idea to push it. G maybe a good option to discuss it with. He is interested in taking up some such product. Let us see what happens but good to see my prototype back again. I had almost forgotten about it. I am so forgetful - unbelievable. .........................................................................Something funny happened on my way back home. I stopped at a traffic light not too far from home and was waiting for it to turn green when this chubby chick crossed was about to cross the road, she seemed to be with her dad maybe 18ish or 20is I guess but she looked at me and I had nothing better to do so I was just watching everyone. Out eyes locked and she smiled at me so I did too and then she started crossing the road she did not look at the road just kept looking at me and boy these cars were going by and I got so scared she is going to hit some people could have seen my fear right there on my face. It was as if she was like stuck or whatever but she did not look at the road and kept looking at me till she reached the other side and stood there - by that time the light turned green and I started moving but that was the last glimpse of her in my rear view mirror - ughh crazy chick could have been run over and it would make me feel guilty wtf

I completely feel you pain. Had, had mind you, a friend that never showed up on time - if at all. She also rarely called if she couldn't show. I wasted two hours worth of family time and rushed a visit w/ another friend so I could show up early. doh People are stupid. I also went to dinner w/ a guy after he was three hours late to a coffee "date". No relationship there, just another friend. But once you meet these people and id them, just remember to never be pulled into that situation again.
