Do we really learn from our mistakes?

If you are supposed to learn from your mistakes, why do some people get married more than once. Did you live that experience? After living 10 years without a couple I feel like having a new long term relation again. What advises do you have for me. I know women´s opinions would be totally different men´s ones. Thanks

you have a choise , you can build a boat , race a stockcar , and you only need to work one night a week , ....

get a women and any hobbies you have will become things of the past ...and you will need to work 6 days per week ... wave

In my opinion, we are all should learn from our mistakes. Getting married is not a mistake therefore there is nothing for us to correct there. BUT, not success in husband-wife life is a problem, that is a BIG mistake which we have to find out correct reason in order to fix. So, the question is, why did you failed to be happy with previous spousal? Is that because you married with a wrong person or that is because of other reasons? I believe that after you answered clearly all of these questions (to yourself), you will have your own value advices regarding to the marriage. wave

I think we do it again because where optimistic that we have learnt from our previous mistakes and this time it won't be like that.
